Hi! My name is Wendy Robison, and I work for Ideation, Inc., in Ann Arbor, MI. Ideation is a company that is dedicated to helping small businesses with marketing strategies (we’re a “small business, helping small businesses”). 
My job here is to provide consulting services for the customer loyalty side of marketing, and I am also the sales manager for the customer rewards program we offer, called POWERpass.
My position with Ideation is a perfect fit for me because I am passionate about supporting independent business owners, which is what we stand for. I am also a firm believer that a large part of a company’s marketing effort should go toward retaining customers. So many business owners focus all of their marketing resources on bringing new customers through the door. That is necessary, but only half of an effective marketing plan.
My purpose with this blog is to share my passions in our industry, and pass along information and updates as I come across them. My hope is that you will all feel comfortable joining the conversation, or at the very least, follow along.
